Michael Oreskovic – Managing Director


Mike has over 30 years of experience in sales and management experience in the energy storage, power conversion and renewables business,  building global distribution & service networks for Saft, Advanced Energy, AEG, Black & McDonald, Emerson and Eaton.  He has also consulted for other companies including Narada Power Source China Co. and Exicom Tele Systems India. 

 

Mike is a Power Electronics engineer from Ryerson U. and received an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude

 

 

Laszlo Lakatos-Hayward – Managing Director


Laszlo has 28 years in senior positions (CTO, COO, MD, President) at large multinationals, including Alcatel, Saft, AEG, and has broad European, Asian and North American experience.

 

He has developed and delivered in excess of 500 diverse power electronics/storage product and service offerings in the Telecom, Data/IT, Medical, Lighting, Oil & Gas, Transmission and Distribution, Transportation, Water Treatment and Energy Generation vertical markets, and has established R&D centers in Asia, Eastern Europe and North America and directed 255 engineers in 14 locations.  Laszlo has patented 50 new discoveries and added 200 trade secrets as the CTO of AEG, delivering $450MM in sales as AEG’s COO with 1,100 direct reports.

 

Laszlo is a Power Electronics engineer from U. of Toronto and received an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd. (Exicom)

Exicom is headquartered in New Delhi, with approximately 400 employees is an important strategic investor for the Company.  Exicom provides efficient, reliable, and cost effective power electronics solutions for global telecom, IT and other service providers.   Lithium ion energy management systems offered by Exicom in Indian, African and South-East Asian markets have been recognized for their enhanced capacity, quick recharge, longer life and environmentally safer solutions. Exicom offers onsite support for all its installations, both in India as well as internationally through its team of qualified engineers and technicians.

Exicom is part of a larger business group called Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (“HFCL”) which had approximately US$480 MM in revenue in 2017.  HFCL  was formed in 1990 and was the first private sector company to enter the telecom sector in India.   HFCL specializes in manufacturing of telecommunication equipment, optical fiber cables and intelligent power systems.  HFCL has implemented over 25,000 2G and 3G cell sites, all of which have back up power solutions.  HFCL is currently rolling out 120,000 4G cell sites with backup power for the largest telecom company in India.  HFCL has approximately 1,200 employees in India

Narada is an important strategic investor for the Company. •Narada’s leading products are highly reliable lithium-ion batteries, rechargeable lead carbon batteries, energy management system, and related components and subsystems.  Narada’s products are widely used in telecom, wind, and solar power applications, railway, and other industries.
