About Storage Power Solutions (SPS)
SPS is a proud Canadian Company, based out of the Greater Toronto Area that designs, manufacturers and distributes Lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) based battery energy storage. SPS has over 100 years of proven experience in power electronics, battery energy storage, UPS and renewable energy, including design and deployment of over 1.5 GWh of lithium based energy storage and over 4.5 GWh of NI-Cd, Ni-Mh and VRLA based critical infrastructure.
SPS’ DNA is critical infrastructure and we employ a field-proven system architecture in our C-2-C battery energy storage technology that uses tried-and-true design principles of simplicity, integration and miniaturization from the telecom sector. Knowing that our customers demand 100% operational availability and safety, C-2-C is designed with a n+4 redundancy for maximum reliability and resiliency. With an ability to scale from 50 kWh to GWh+, C-2-C is suited to a variety of applications requiring infrastructure hardening and rugged environments. As well, C-2-C includes a proprietary front-end with analog intelligent controls of the cabinet, enabling plug and play interface with a variety of inverters and UPS.

Laszlo Lakatos-Hayward
Laszlo has 28 years in senior positions (CTO, COO, MD, President) at large multinationals, including Alcatel, Saft, AEG, and has broad European, Asian and North American experience.
He has developed and delivered in excess of 500 diverse power electronics/storage product and service offerings in the Telecom, Data/IT, Medical, Lighting, Oil & Gas, Transmission and Distribution, Transportation, Water Treatment and Energy Generation vertical markets, and has established R&D centers in Asia, Eastern Europe and North America and directed 255 engineers in 14 locations. Laszlo has patented 50 new discoveries and added 200 trade secrets as the CTO of AEG, delivering $450MM in sales as AEG’s COO with 1,100 direct reports.
Laszlo is a Power Electronics engineer from U. of Toronto and received an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Michael Oreskovic
Mike has over 30 years of experience in sales and management experience in the energy storage, power conversion and renewables business, building global distribution & service networks for Saft, Advanced Energy, AEG, Black & McDonald, Emerson and Eaton. He has also consulted for other companies including Narada Power Source China Co. and Exicom Tele Systems India.
Mike is a Power Electronics engineer from Ryerson U. and received an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
